With over 20 years of dedicated social work experience, I specialize in child protection, supporting looked-after children, and guiding families through complex challenges. My work spans frontline practice, leadership roles, and serving as an expert witness—combining deep knowledge of legislation and court procedures with a commitment to developing compassionate, effective solutions.

I’m particularly passionate about:

I am a highly experienced social worker with over 18 years in children’s services, safeguarding, and frontline practice. Qualified in Australia and based in London for the past 10 years, I am known for strong leadership and a relentless, child-centred approach to practice.

- Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO): Ensuring the voices and rights of children and young people are central to care planning and decision-making

- Team Manager, Children’s Services: Led teams in complex, high-pressure environments and drove quality practice, court work and form F assessments

- Foster Carer for over 6 years: Lived experience of the care system, with deep insight into the impact of contact and family time on children
